Russia is making "slow but tangible progress" in Donbas - Johnson

Russian Federation is making slow but tangible progress in the Donbas. Prime Minister Boris Johnson called for assistance to Ukraine in the military sphere.

This was reported by Sky News.

According to the prime minister, Russian President Vladimir Putin decided to achieve at least some success at the cost of heavy losses among its military.

"I think it is very, very important that we are not lulled by the incredible heroism of the Ukrainians who pushed the Russians away from the gates of Kiev. I fear that Putin - at great cost to himself and the Russian military - continues to gnaw at the ground in the Donbas, he continues to make gradual, slow, but I fear, tangible progress," Johnson said.

Johnson expressed his deep hope that Ukrainians will be able to return to normal life as soon as possible.
