Western partners will not be able to force Ukraine to agree to concessions to Russian President Vladimir Putin. And also to pretend as if there would be no consequences for Russia for the war against Ukraine. Polish President Andrzej Duda said this, writes rp.pl.
"I do not believe that (Ukrainians, - ed.) will agree to the terms of peace, which will consist in the fact that Russians will take more square kilometers of Ukrainian land... If today someone from the politicians in the West expects to force Ukrainians to yield to Putin, as it was recently heard from Mr. (former Italian Prime Minister, - ed.) Berlusconi, it is deeply wrong," the Polish president said, speaking at the World Economic Forum in Davos.
He stressed that he would support Ukraine 100%.
"I cannot accept - including as Russia's neighbor - that Russia can violate international law with impunity, and the world will accept that. I cannot accept the fact that Russia is killing people in Ukraine and the world pretends not to see it, so that there are no consequences for the killers, so that Russia does not pay war reparations for the damage caused to Ukraine, so that it is not forced to simply finance the reconstruction of Ukraine," Duda added.
