Donor conference in Warsaw raised $6.5 billion for Ukraine

In his nightly address, Volodymyr Zelensky spoke about the results of the donor conference in Warsaw, where $6.5 billion was raised for Ukraine.

"I addressed the participants of the high-level donor conference held in Warsaw. This is also an element of our protection, an element of protection of the whole Europe. For not only on the battlefield the fate of our state and the future of the continent is being decided now. But also on the economic field and on the field of readiness of the world leaders to unite in order to restore Ukraine after this war and to give stability and security to the center and the east of Europe," the President said.

Zelensky noted that $6.5 billion is only part of what is needed to restore normalcy throughout Ukraine.

Therefore, a modern equivalent of the Marshall Plan for Ukraine is also needed. We need more powerful participation of the countries of the free world and international institutions," Zelensky concluded.
