Journalist Anatoly Shariy, suspected of high treason, was released by a Spanish court on his own recognizance not to leave. This is reported by Elpais.
"Jose Luis Calama, chairman of the investigative court No. 4 of the National Court, forbade Shariy to leave Spain, confiscated his passport and forced him to appear in court twice a month," the report said.
It is now known that Shariy may return home to Catalonia, where he will wait for the end of the extradition process.
