At the same time, the German foreign minister did not give a specific date.
However, she explained why she has not yet been to the Ukrainian capital since the start of the war. According to Berbock, she had agreed with German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier that he would go first, but the visit was canceled by the Ukrainian side. "This does not mean that in the future I will not go to Kiev," added the head of the Foreign Ministry of Germany.
We should also remind you that after the liberation of the Kiev region from Russian invaders in early April, European officials began to actively visit Kyiv.
