Additional source of gas: Ukraine will get access to LNG-terminals of the Baltic states and Poland

Ukraine should get access to the Baltic States' and Poland's LNG terminals in the summer, Serhiy Makogon, director general of Ukraine's GTS operator, said on Facebook.

"... GIPL interconnector between Poland and Lithuania has started working, which has connected the Baltic states with the European gas market. This is a significant breakthrough in the energy security of the entire region. It will be harder for Gazprom to blackmail these countries with gas. In the next few days already a tanker with a cargo of liquefied LNG for Poland will arrive at the LNG terminal in Klaipeda. And after the end of the Poland-Slovakia interconnector this summer, the LNG terminal in Poland and the Baltic states will also receive Ukraine", said Makogon.
