At least $8 billion is the amount of military support Ukraine has already received from its NATO allies. NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg told a news conference on April 27.
"NATO allies have strengthened their support for Ukraine, and today NATO allies have promised and provided at least $8 billion in military support to Ukraine. And we see the importance of further strengthening our support for Ukraine," Stoltenberg said.
According to the senior official, cooperation between NATO and the EU has always been important, but especially now when our core values, democracy, the rule of law, respect for sovereignty and territorial integrity are threatened by Russia's brutal invasion of Ukraine. It is even more important that the European Union and NATO are together.
