The Secretary General of the United Nations, António Guterres, shared his view that the war in Ukraine will continue as long as Russia decides to end it. He made this statement after a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
This was reported by CNN.
"Meetings" cannot end this war, Guterres said.
"The war will end when the Russian Federation decides to end it, and when a serious political agreement is possible after the cease-fire. We can have as many meetings as we want, but that is not what will end the war," the UN secretary general said.
