73 percent of Americans support US efforts to supply Ukraine with weapons, the highest level of support since Russia invaded its neighboring country in February, a Reuters/Ipsos poll completed on Tuesday shows.
The level of support raised 5 percent from the previous poll conducted in March.
The poll also found that an overwhelming majority of Democrats and Republicans support U.S. sanctions against Russia.
About half of those polled fear Russia might try to influence the congressional elections with disinformation.
More than 30 allies and partners have joined the U.S. in providing more than $5 billion in security assistance and equipment transfers to Ukraine.
