One pilot died and two are in hospital as a result of the crash of an An-26 aircraft in Zaporizhzhia region, the speaker of the Zaporizhzhia regional military administration, Colonel Ivan Arefiev, said.
"Today (April 22 ) in the area of Mikhailovka Zaporizhzhia region fell down a plane An-26. The Zaporizhzhia regional prosecutor's office, police and emergency services are working at the site: it is being investigated why the aircraft, which was on a technical flight, fell and got caught on an electricity pole. This fact will be clarified," he said in a video message.
According to Arefiev, there were three pilots on board: one was killed, and two are in hospital.
