On Friday, April 15, 1,864 people were evacuated from the war zones through humanitarian corridors, said Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories of Ukraine Iryna Vereshchuk.
"From Mariupol and Berdyansk 2,494 people reached Zaporizhia by their own transport. Of them: 363 people from Mariupol; 2,131 people were residents of towns in Zaporizhzhya region (Polohy, Vasilievka, Berdyansk and Melitopol)," Vereshchuk wrote on Facebook.
Despite constant shelling, 370 people were evacuated from Lysychansk, Severodonetsk, Rubizhne, Kreminna, Popasna, and Gornoe in Luhansk Region.
