Former President of the United States Donald Trump agreed with the current White House President Joe Biden, who called the war unleashed by Russia against Ukraine as genocide.
This was reported by The Hill.
The 45th U.S. president joined his successor in defining the war in Ukraine in an interview on Fox News Wednesday night. Trump mentioned Ukraine in the context of his criticism of Biden.
The former president criticized the White House for record high inflation, adding, "Now add to that what's happening in Ukraine. This is genocide."
Trump later added to his comment. He reiterated the Russian Federation's implementation of genocide in Ukraine and criticized the passivity of the U.S. and NATO.
"I think in 100 years, people will look back and ask: "How did we retreat, how did NATO retreat?" - the former president summarized.
Earlier, Trump predicted that a Russian invasion of Ukraine could lead to World War III. He also expressed doubts that Russian President Putin could be stopped by anyone other than Trump himself.
By the way, the European Union has received threats from Russia to break off bilateral relations.
