The advisor to the head of the Ukrainian presidential office, Mykhaylo Podolyak, commented on the reaction of former Russian President Dmitriy Medvedev to the detention of MP Viktor Medvedchuk. The OP representative called him an empty place for his own people and those who have no influence in Russia.
"Mr. Medvedev has been president and prime minister of Russia for 14 years, but his only way to remind himself today is to say something about Ukraine. To say something nasty, nasty and traditionally stupid. Something akin to a maxim about 'poor Medvedchuk,'" Podolyak noted on Telegram.
According to Podolyak's spokesman, Medvedev absolutely has no influence in Russia. His team was fired from the government, and someone was even arrested. No one in the Kremlin respects him.
"In the world, Medvedev is generally treated as an empty place. It's strange that lately the Russian Federation has constantly resorted to resuscitating 'political dead men,'" he added.
