Negotiations with Ukraine will continue without pauses in hostilities - Lavrov

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said that Moscow will continue the negotiation process with Kiev, but the fighting will not be suspended. Lavrov said this in an interview with Russian media, UP reported.

"I do not see any reason why we cannot continue negotiations, although the Ukrainian side every time turns around, accidentally, by 180 degrees, discarding what it itself proposed a few days ago, for example. However, we are patient and persistent people," the head of the Russian Foreign Ministry said.

However, there will be no pause in fighting. According to Lavrov, on the eve of the first round of negotiations Putin allegedly indicated to cease fire, but Ukraine allegedly "did not reciprocate."

"When we were convinced that the Ukrainians were not going to reciprocate, it was decided that there would be no pauses for the next rounds of talks. Until final agreements are reached, until they are signed," Lavrov responded.
