Fox News reporter after being wounded in Ukraine: "very lucky to have survived"

Fox News reporter Benjamin Hall, who, along with his colleagues, came under fire from Russian occupants near Kyiv and was seriously wounded, said that he was "very lucky to have survived".

This was reported by Reuters.

"In the end, I lost half of my leg on one side and my foot on the other. One arm is vaulted, one eye no longer works, and my hearing is very bad. But all in all, I am very lucky to be here. The people who brought me here are incredible!" - Hall said.

Recall that in March, Hall was traveling in a car with Fox News cameraman Pierre Zakrzewski and Ukrainian journalist Alexandra Kuvshynova. His colleagues were killed in the shelling.

Zakrzewski was a veteran photographer who had covered military conflicts for Fox News, particularly in Iraq, Afghanistan and Syria. His colleague, Kuvshynova, helped Fox crews navigate Kyiv and the surrounding area, gathering necessary information and communicating with sources.

The injured British journalist Hall was hospitalized and is now in serious condition. He underwent several surgical procedures.
