Vladimir Zhirinovsky, the founder of the LDPR and a member of the State Duma of all eight convocations, died at the age of 76. This was announced by the speaker of the State Duma Vyacheslav Volodin.
Zhirinovsky had been seriously ill with coronavirus since the beginning of the year.
Earlier, there were rumors about his death, but they were denied.
Now they have been officially confirmed.
There was speculation on the net that he died two weeks ago, when the first reports appeared.
And in the Kremlin for two weeks they were just waiting for what information reason they needed to interrupt and now, apparently, to distract from the horrors in Bucha, finally reported the death.
Whether this is true, we will probably never know.
Recall that shortly before his illness, Zhirinovsky predicted with 48-hour accuracy the beginning of the war in Ukraine, saying that it would begin on February 22 at 4 a.m.
In reality, it began early in the morning of February 24.
