Today, the Russian media began writing about the death of Russian State Duma deputy Vladimir Zhirinovsky, but the Duma itself was divided.
The Russian media wrote that the politician died today at 10:45 a.m. at the age of 76. He had spent the last 24 hours in a coma.
Information about Zhirinovsky's death was first confirmed by Russian Council member Alexander Pronyushkin. Later, the speaker of the State Duma Vyacheslav Volodin denied the death of the politician.
"His condition is indeed serious. Today he had a CT scan. We are worried about him, the doctors are fighting for him. He's doing a great job himself. Let's wish him a speedy recovery, "- wrote Volodin.
Zhirinovsky was hospitalized with a severe form of the coronavirus and 50-75% of his lungs were affected.
As the media wrote earlier, the politician was vaccinated seven times.
At the end of February, he was hooked up to a ventilator and put in an artificial coma. Later, Zhirinovsky was brought out of drug-induced sleep.
The other day, it became known that his condition was noticeably worsening.
Recall that Zhirinovsky is "famous" for his scandalous actions and statements. One of them is that "Kyiv should be left with one third of Ukraine and the rest of the territories should belong to Russia.
