Zelensky spoke out about a possible meeting with Putin

Ukrainian President Voloymyr Zelensky named the conditions of the meeting with the Russian dictator.

This was stated by the head of state during an interview with an American TV channel on the CBS television channel.

"First a cease-fire, then a meeting is possible," said the president of Ukraine.

According to him, there can be no human position after the genocide in Bucha.

"It's hard to say how, after what has been done, we can have any negotiations with Russia. But this is on a personal level. And as president - I have to talk to him," he stressed.

At the same time, Zelensky noted that the results of the negotiations may not end in peace.

"I am not saying that it will end in peace. For peace in a situation where thousands of people have been killed is something I don't like. But as president, I say the other way. It's important to have agreement between the two sides and understanding, at least a desire to understand each other," he reported.

He also commented on the security from the U.S. and thanked them for their support.

"We are very grateful for U.S. support, it is very important. But we still haven't gotten security guarantees from anyone. And we have to get them. It's important for us which circle of states will provide them and what their essence will be," Zelensky said.
