More than 13% of Ukrainian roads have been destroyed as a result of full-scale Russian aggression, First Deputy Head of Ukravtodor Andrey Ivko said during a briefing at the Media Center "Ukraine".

According to the deputy head of Ukravtodor, 23 thousand kilometers of public roads have been destroyed out of a total of 170 thousand kilometers because of the Russian invasion into Ukraine. In addition, 273 artificial structures, such as bridges, overpasses and the like have been destroyed.

The total amount of losses reaches hundreds of billions of hryvnias.

"The total amount we have already calculated is 874 billion hryvnias. That is, to restore those artificial structures, those roads that were destroyed in this war, there is already such a sum. The roads - 835 billion hryvnias. And bridges - 39 billion hryvnias, "- Ivko said.

The official also noted that now there is a threat and mined roads. For example, it is worth waiting and not return to Irpen and Bucha, as the military will be engaged in demining roads.

Ukravtodor also records a significant increase in the load on Ukrainian roads due to the evacuation of citizens.

Ukraine's losses since the start of the war, according to government estimates, have exceeded 560 billion dollars.
