The Verkhovna Rada passed bill #7214, which protects Ukraine in the information space, prohibits the use of Russian neo-Nazi symbols "Z", "V" and recognizes Russia as a terrorist state. This is reported by the party "Servant of the people". 

 

"People's deputies passed the bill #7214, which protects Ukraine in the information space, which prohibits the use of Russian neo-Nazi symbols and recognizes Russia as a terrorist state," - the message says.

 

It is reported that the co-author of the bill, the chairman of the Committee on Humanitarian and Information Policy Nikita Poturaev said that the Ukrainian legislation is supplemented with new terms "terrorist state" and "symbols of military invasion of the Russian neo-Nazi totalitarian regime in Ukraine".

 

"Letters 'Z', 'V' are recognized as symbols of Russia's military invasion of Ukraine, if their use corresponds to the characteristics established by this law," he stressed.

 

In addition, Russia is recognized as a terrorist state, one of the goals of whose political regime is the state genocide of the Ukrainian people, physical destruction, mass murder of Ukrainian citizens, committing international crimes against civilians, using prohibited methods of war, destroying civilian objects and critical infrastructure facilities, creating artificial humanitarian disasters in certain regions of Ukraine.

 

"Any propaganda of the Russian neo-Nazi totalitarian regime, the act of aggression against Ukraine by Russia as a terrorist state, including the use of invasion symbols, is prohibited. The term 'terrorist activity' is supplemented with propaganda of the Russian neo-Nazi totalitarian regime," Poturaev added.
