Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a decree on the beginning of the spring conscription campaign. The Russian army intends to recruit 134,500 conscripts.

Under the decree, 134,500 conscripts of men aged 18 to 27 years old will be drafted under the spring conscription campaign from April 1 to July 15, 2022. In addition, Putin has ordered the demobilization of soldiers, sailors, sergeants and petty officers whose term of service has come to an end.
We shall remind you that earlier, the Operational Information Center of the Ukrainian Defense Ministry said that the Russian occupation army has personnel problems, as they started to transfer military personnel from different departments for the war against Ukraine.
