The Ukrainian Armed Forces liberated the village of Sloboda near Chernihiv, thereby breaking the partial encirclement of the regional center from the north by the Russian occupants. In this locality, the enemy was shelling the humanitarian corridor.

Another victory was told to the journalist by the military, who transmitted a video shot in Sloboda.
The footage shows a burning enemy tank of the Russian modification of the T-72B3 model, and how local residents greet the AFU fighters with hugs and tears in their eyes as they entered the village.
It is noted that from Sloboda the enemy recently conducted shelling along the humanitarian corridor to Chernihiv, where Tsaplienko was wounded.
The village is located about 20 kilometers north of the regional center.
The liberation of Sloboda is very important for efforts to break the partial encirclement of Chernihiv.
