The Mayor of Irpen told about the deaths in the city

Irpen Mayor Alexander Makrushin said that up to 300 civilians and up to 50 military were killed in Irpen according to preliminary data.

"People they didn't like - they were just shot. I'll tell you, maybe someone will not like it, but it's true. With tanks they were crushing our Ukrainians who had been killed, just rolling them into the asphalt. It was terrifying to watch. Unfortunately, 16 guys from our terrorist troops were killed, 29 are in the hospital. If with the AFU, up to 50 people were killed and about 100 wounded," Makrushin said during the briefing.

He said there was no exact number of civilians killed and said that when there were powerful battles, people were buried right in yards and parks. Markushin estimates that up to 300 civilians were killed.
