The Verkhovna Rada has passed a law exempting imported goods imported by businesses from duties and VAT. Also, the law exempts from customs duties vehicles that are imported by citizens. This is reported by the chairman of the Committee on Finance, Tax and Customs Policy Danila Getmantsev.
In addition, the bill ¹ 7190 provides that by decision of the Cabinet of Ministers during martial law can be imported certain categories of goods without the provision of permits to customs officials.
The law also provides for:
- extension from three to six months of the period after the war to submit reports that have not been filed;
- exemption from VAT on the importation of goods by "simplified taxpayers" of groups 1 to 3;
- exemption from tax on residential real estate located in the territories of combat operations for the years 2021 and 2022.
