Belarus has been complicit in Russia's invasion of Ukraine since the beginning of the war. NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg said this at a briefing today in the context of the Russian invasion of Ukraine.

"Belarus was complicit in this invasion from the very beginning, in fact, before it started, because Belarus allowed its territory to be used as a training ground for the mobilization, the concentration of troops invading Ukraine. Belarus continues to facilitate the invasion by providing territory, airfields, military infrastructure, bases, and by allowing Russia to use Belarusian airspace to launch strikes every night, every day against Ukrainian cities, against Ukrainian civilians, against the Ukrainian people," the Secretary General said.

According to him, NATO calls on Belarus to stop doing just that and not to be used by Russia to wage a brutal war against its neighbor, Ukraine.
