According to preliminary data, there were no Ukrainians on board the passenger plane that crashed in southern China. About this wrote on Twitter spokesman of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Oleg Nikolenko.

"According to preliminary information of the Chinese side, Ukrainian citizens were not on board the passenger plane that crashed in southern China," Nikolenko wrote.

A China Eastern Airlines plane carrying 133 passengers from Kunming to Guangzhou crashed in the Guangxi region on March 21, resulting in a mountain fire.

The jet that crashed was a Boeing 737. The number of casualties is unknown, CCTV reported.
