Erdogan again suggested holding talks between Zelensky and Putin in Turkey

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has held a telephone conversation with Russian President Vladimir Putin. During the talks, he once again proposed to hold talks between Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky and Putin in Turkey. This is reported by Anadolu.

Erdogan's administration said that the Turkish leader and Putin discussed the latest information on Russia's war against Ukraine and the humanitarian situation.

Erdogan stressed that the coordination of a number of issues may require a personal meeting between the presidents of Russia and Ukraine, and again voiced an invitation to Putin and Zelensky to meet in Istanbul or Ankara.

At the same time, he expressed confidence that in case of a cease-fire in Ukraine, the leaders of the two countries would have an opportunity for a long-term settlement.
