The Kremlin said that it cannot take into account the request of the International Court of Justice for Russia to stop the hostilities in Ukraine.

When asked by journalists about the UN court ruling on the situation in Ukraine, Dmitry Peskov, the press secretary of the head of state, replied: "No, we cannot take this decision into account. The International Court of Justice has such a concept as "consent of the parties. There can be no agreement here."

"In this case, that is something we cannot take into account," the Kremlin spokesman added.

The night before, the International Court of Justice demanded that Russia "immediately suspend the military operation in Ukraine."
