The Russian leadership planned in advance and deliberately planned a "scorched earth" tactic, a complete disregard for international law. Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Oleksiy Danilov said this on his Facebook.
"Unfortunately, this morning confirmed what the Ukrainians understood from the first days of the war. The Russian leadership in advance and deliberately planned the tactic of "scorched earth", complete disregard for international law, began to commit war crimes and crimes against humanity," Danilov wrote.
Danilov recalled that at 5:00 Russian occupation troops used "Smerch" against civilians of the city of Nikolaev.
"As a result of the shelling - fires and destruction. In addition, also yesterday, the Russian occupiers, continuing the "black list" of their crimes, struck a civilian airfield in Vinnitsa, shelled defenseless people who evacuated from Bucha and Irpen. They bombed the cities of Malin, Ovruch and Korosten. And that's just in one day..." - Danilov reported.
He stressed that the Russian leadership is killing children, women, the elderly.
"We remember everyone and everything, we will never forget anyone! You will not hide anywhere: not behind the fences of your houses, not on villas in Miami, not on a yacht in the Seychelles or in a bunker in the Urals. We will find you and come after you, either as after Eichmann or as after Bin Laden. Your crimes are in the documents, and the memory of them is burned into our hearts. Our lists include both those who gave the orders and those who carried them out - aiming a missile at our peaceful cities," said Danilov.
In the Zhytomyr region, Korosten, Malin, and Ovruch were damaged as a result of bombing by Russian occupiers on March 6. One dead and four injured are known.
