It is reported that Visa is suspending its activities in Russia and intends to stop all transactions in the coming days.
This means that the cards issued in Russia will not work outside the country, while the cards issued outside Russia will not work in Russia. In Russia, the cards, previously issued by Russian banks, will continue to work.
A similar decision was made in Mastercard.
Cards issued in Russia will no longer be supported by the Mastercard network, and Mastercard cards issued abroad will not work in retail outlets and ATMs in Russia," the company explained.
Also, with cards issued in Russia, it will not be possible to pay for goods in online stores.
