The Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ukrainian Defense Ministry has announced the death of three of its spies. Among them is the famous Ukrainian banker Denis Kireev. This was reported on the Facebook page of the intelligence agency.
In the performance of special assignments died:
Alexey Ivanovich Dolya;
Valery Viktorovich Chibineev;
Denis Borisovich Kireev.
"They died defending Ukraine, and their rank brought us closer to victory!", - said in the GUR.
It should be noted, according to some Ukrainian media, Denis Kireev was present at the first round of talks between Ukraine and Russia on the Belarusian border. His participation in the Ukrainian delegation was not officially announced, but a man resembling Kireev was spotted in photos from the negotiations.
Denis Kireev is a well-known Ukrainian banker. In 2006-2012, he was a member of the supervisory board of Ukreximbank. From 2010 to 2014, he was the first deputy head of the board of Oshchadbank. Then was engaged in the management of private funds.
We would like to add that earlier on Saturday, the Ukrainian media reported that Denys Kireyev had been killed by the Security Service of Ukraine. According to media reports, the SBU had evidence of Kireyev's treason, in particular, phone conversations.
