The National Agency for the Prevention of Corruption (NAPC) states that captured Russian tanks and other equipment are not subject to declaration.
"Captured a Russian tank or APC and worried about how to declare it? Stay calm and continue to defend your homeland! There is no need to declare captured Russian tanks and other equipment, because the value of it... does not exceed 100 living wages (248,100 UAH)," the press service of the department said.
There is also no need in such a case to submit reports on significant changes in property status within 10 days. "If we speak the letter of the law, combat trophies are not subject to reflection in the declaration for the following reasons: they were acquired not due to the conclusion of any type of transaction, but in connection with the full-scale aggression from 24.02.2022 of the Russian Federation against the independent and sovereign Ukrainian state as a continuation of the insidious attack of Russia on Ukraine started in 2014; thanks to the courage and victory of defenders of the Ukrainian state, enemy military equipment usually gets to you already destroyed and put out of service, which makes it impossible to pr Consequently, it is also impossible to find out how much such property is worth", - the NACC states.
At the same time, the NAPC continues to provide a technical possibility of providing notification of significant changes in property status on the acquisition of objects seized from the Russian army, if the subjects of the declaration wish to carry out such actions.
Meanwhile, the security holding Sheriff promised to pay $1,000 to anyone who picks up, disarms or burns a Russian tank in Kiev or the Kiev region. A business proposal to that effect appeared on the holding's Facebook page.
"Everyone who picks up, disarms or burns the aggressor's tank in Kiev or Kiev region - Sheriff will pay 1000$. For other equipment - $500," the message reads.
