Russian President Vladimir Putin appealed to the Ukrainian military and urged them to "take power into their own hands" because the Ukrainian people have allegedly been taken over by "a gang of drug addicts and neo-Nazis."
"Take power into your own hands. It looks like it will be easier for us to come to an agreement with you than with this gang of drug addicts and neo-Nazis that has settled in Kiev and taken the entire Ukrainian people hostage," he said.
