Alexander Lukashenko said that the West is heating up the hysteria around the rumors of war in Ukraine, reports RIA Novosti.
"Look, if they were planning any war against Ukraine, the media would behave quite differently. Because the media is the artillery of modern warfare," Lukashenko said at a meeting with Ukrainian politician Alexander Moroz.
He noted that "as soon as these cries about war in Ukraine subside for a moment, a signal comes from America again and this hysteria begins to heat up.
The West accuses Russia of plans to launch an invasion of Ukraine. Moscow categorically denies this.
