In anticipation of German Chancellor Olaf Scholz's scheduled visit to Ukraine on February 14, a Ukrainian delegation led by First Deputy Prime Minister - Economy Minister Yulia Sviridenko arrived in Berlin. The official internet representation of the President of Ukraine informs about this.
The Ukrainian delegation held several meetings with German officials, in particular with the Vice-Chancellor, Minister of Economy and Climate Protection Robert Habek, Minister of Finance Christian Lindner, Minister of Economic Cooperation and Development Svenja Schulze, members of the Bundestag and business representatives.
The main purpose of the meetings with the German partners is a substantive discussion of the financial cooperation and support, implementation of bilateral economic cooperation projects, development of the transport potential of the two countries.
Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Andriy Yermak also arrived in Berlin to participate in the second meeting of diplomatic advisors of the Normandy quartet leaders since the beginning of this year.
Following the results of the negotiations, a briefing will begin at 19:00 (tentatively) at the premises of the Ukrainian Embassy in Germany.
