Union of Ukraine, Poland and Britain: Kuleba told us about the details

Ukraine, Poland and Great Britain are really creating a new small alliance to strengthen the security belt and strengthen the Baltic-Black Sea axis. This was stated by Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba.

According to him, Ukraine initiated the creation of such a trilateral cooperation format in October 2021.

"I am grateful to my colleagues and friends Liz Truss and Zbigniew Rau, who responded and the trilateral work was launched by the Foreign Ministry of the three countries, to which each state makes an equally important contribution," noted Kuleba.

He added that this new format is part of our small alliances strategy as a proactive foreign policy. They are also given special attention in the Foreign Policy Strategy.

"We can't expect security and prosperity somewhere in the future when we become members of the EU and NATO. We need them today. That is why we are already achieving practical consolidation today, bringing together friendly and like-minded countries into small alliances. We create a belt of security and prosperity and strengthen the Baltic-Black Sea axis," Kuleba summed up.

For his part, Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki confirmed at a briefing in Kiev that the new political format between Ukraine, Poland and Great Britain would represent security cooperation in the region.

"The main value is, of course, security in the region. Thanks to security, culture, economy, trade can develop. All of us in the region are interested in this. This cooperation is a fight for security in the region," Morawiecki said.

According to him, the format of political cooperation that the foreign ministries of the three countries are creating is very important.

"We have seen the destabilization on the eastern flank of NATO. Britain itself has seen for itself what the long arms of the Russian Federation and their secret services are. Our ministers are working for this format," he said.
