Ukrainian diplomacy is working to maintain a high intensity of diplomatic negotiations and the presence of foreign top officials in Ukraine as a factor in reducing security threats, Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba said, Interfax-Ukraine reported.
"We do remain vigilant and consider every scenario. But diplomacy continues to work, and the situation remains in the mainstream of diplomatic negotiations. This is the main result of intensive diplomacy for the security of Ukraine and Ukrainian citizens," Kuleba said.
The minister noted the active diplomatic negotiations of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, in particular telephone conversations with the leaders of the United States Joseph Biden and France Emmanuel Macron, the main result of which is that the situation remains in the mainstream of diplomatic negotiations.
"We originally built this diplomacy in such a way that the center is in Kiev. We call it network diplomacy. We know what they say to Russia and what the Russians say in response," the head of Ukrainian diplomacy stressed.
He explained that thanks to network diplomacy intensive diplomatic contacts of partners with the Russian side take place in close coordination with Ukraine, and Russia hears from everywhere a single position agreed with Ukraine.
"The next two weeks will vividly demonstrate this. Only this week we will have three prime ministers from three different countries," the Minister announced.
He specified that they are heads of governments of Great Britain, the Netherlands and Poland.
"A week later my colleagues from Germany and France will visit Ukraine. They will, in particular, carry out a visit to Donbas. I urged all partners to do just that, to see with their own eyes what the war is like, what the human problems people face there," the foreign minister stressed.
He also announced a series of telephone conversations and online meetings. According to him, the Foreign Ministry "will have two very busy diplomatic weeks."
The head of the Ukrainian diplomacy added that Ukraine had already started another area of work - attracting support from partners to preserve the state's financial and economic stability.
