British Prime Minister Boris Johnson is going to visit Ukraine this week.

According to European Pravda, the visit was confirmed by Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba on the Inter TV channel.

The minister explained that thanks to network diplomacy, intensive diplomatic contacts between partners with the Russian side occur in close coordination with Ukraine, and Russia hears from everywhere a single coordinated position with our state.

"The next two weeks will vividly demonstrate this. Just this week alone, we will have three prime ministers of three different countries in Kyiv at the same time," the Foreign Ministry press service quotes Dmytro Kuleba.

The Minister clarified that the heads of the governments of the United Kingdom, the Netherlands and Poland are involved.

Kuleba did not announce the date of Johnson's visit. Last week, the visit of British Foreign Secretary Liz Truss to Ukraine was announced.

Earlier, a spokeswoman for the British prime minister said that Johnson was planning a visit to Eastern Europe "in an attempt to avoid bloodshed" in the region, but did not specify where exactly.

In addition, Boris Johnson intends to have a telephone conversation with Russian President Vladimir Putin this week.

On Monday, Japan's national news agency reported that Johnson had canceled a trip to Japan scheduled for mid-February because of rising tensions over Ukraine.
