The list of professions for which women are taken to the military register as persons liable for military service has been significantly reduced, no one will pay any fines today, Defense Minister Alexei Reznikov said.
"I want to reassure everyone: no fines today no one will pay, neither employers nor women. Today the order to reduce the number of professions, specialties that are needed now, only based on the challenges and threats and the development of the Armed Forces has been changed. The General Staff of the Armed Forces has prepared this reduction to comply with the order. It is significantly reduced and submitted for approval to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Foreign Intelligence Service and the Security Service of Ukraine. After that it will be sent to the Ministry of Justice and, accordingly, will be made public," Reznikov said during the "Question to the Government Hour" in the Verkhovna Rada on Friday.
