Ukraine starts emergency imports of electricity from Belarus

Belarus has started emergency supplies of electricity to Ukraine. The supplies will continue throughout the day on 25 January. This is stated in the message of the Ministry of Energy of Belarus.

"The supply of electricity is carried out at the request of the Ukrainian side on January 25 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. in the framework of the bilateral agreement on emergency assistance," the statement said.

According to the Belarusian side, the maximum capacity will be 150 MW.
