On January 23, nearly 13,000 cases of coronavirus COVID-19 were recorded in Ukraine per day. As noted in the Ministry of Health, this is less than the day before, but the traditional decline in the indicator on the weekend. Of those who have fallen ill in the past 24 hours: children - 1,826, health workers - 224.

"During the day on January 23 in Ukraine recorded 12,915 new confirmed cases of coronavirus disease COVID-19," - said in the message of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine.

Also over the past 24 hours:

- hospitalized - 1,836 people;

- fatal cases - 67;

- recovered - 2,430 people.

During the entire pandemic in Ukraine:

- 3,870,370 people fell ill;

- 3 585 338 people recovered;

- 99 282 lethal cases;

- 17,523,330 PCR tests were conducted.

In the last 24 hours the largest number of confirmed cases was registered in Lviv (2036), Ivano-Frankivsk (1765), Kharkiv (1019), Sumy (856) and Chernivtsi (837) regions.

Also, according to the Ministry of Health, a full course of vaccination against coronavirus disease COVID-19 has been given to over 14.46 million people in Ukraine since late February, while about 209 thousand people got a booster dose of the vaccine.

On January 23, 22,541 people in Ukraine were vaccinated against COVID-19, the Ministry of Health of Ukraine reports.
