The USA has said that Moscow has prepared a plan to destabilize Ukraine internally. In addition, it is spreading disinformation and lies about Ukraine, the USA and NATO to justify its own actions.
This was reported by RBC-Ukraine, referring to a briefing by the US Undersecretary of State Victoria Nuland.
According to her, Russia created a crisis out of nothing.
"It was Russia that accumulated 100,000 troops on the borders of Ukraine. It is Russia that has prepared internal sabotage, destabilization and foreign-flag options in Ukraine. It is Russia that spreads disinformation and lies about Ukraine, the United States and NATO to justify its own actions," Nuland said.
She also reminded that it is Russia that is the aggressor, it occupied part of Ukraine in 2014, and Ukraine only wants a peaceful, democratic, European future for itself.
Recall, the U.S. sees in Russia's actions the intention to attack Ukraine.
In addition, The New York Times wrote that Vladimir Putin postponed a possible invasion of Ukraine closer to spring.
