On December 30, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine adopted a decision allowing to significantly reduce the price of gas for producers of socially important products.

In particular, producers of socially important products will be able to buy gas produced in Ukraine (except for natural gas supplied by enterprises of Naftogaz group for the needs of the population, fuel and energy companies, budget and municipal institutions) at a price, in which the maximum markup will be 25%, the Government Portal reports.

Producers of the following commodity groups will be able to buy Ukrainian gas at a reduced price: bread, flour, milk, sunflower oil, eggs and chicken meat.

This decision will allow producers of these products not to stop production and increase prices of socially important products.
