The National Security and Defense Council (NSDC) at a meeting on December 30 imposed sanctions on a number of individuals and legal entities for activities in Crimea. This is reported by the apparatus of the NSDC.
The proposal to impose sanctions at the meeting of the NSDC was made by the Prime Minister of Ukraine Denis Shmygal. According to his proposal, it was decided to expand the list of individuals and legal entities against which personal economic and other restrictions are imposed.
The sanctions are imposed on 6 individuals and 24 legal entities who are involved in the construction of a bridge across the Kerch Strait in the occupied Crimea, organization of passenger rail communication with Russia and damage to the national cultural patrimony in the city of Sevastopol.
The sanctions list also includes 18 individuals. They are involved in the imposition of unlawful judicial decisions on the alienation of property of the Crimean diocese of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine on the territory of the peninsula.
In addition, sanctions were applied to 52 individuals who, while holding senior positions in the structure of the Russian occupation administration in Crimea, caused significant damage to the national interests and security of Ukraine.
