Borsch set vegetables went up by half in a year

The price of traditional five "borsch" vegetables in Ukraine rose by almost 54.1% for a year, while for a month by almost 7.8% - up to 47.27 UAH. This is UNN reports with reference to the data of the State Statistics Committee.

In November this year, borsch set vegetables cost 47.27 UAH, while in November last year - 30.68 UAH, so for the year vegetables borsch set increased in price by almost 54.1%:

cabbage went up by 63.9% to 8.31 from 5.07 UAH/kg;

Onions - more than twice (110.9%) - up to 10.61 UAH/kg from 5.03 UAH/kg

beet - approximately twice (102.9%) - to 10.55 UAH/kg from 5.20 UAH/kg

Carrots - nearly by half (49.4%) - to 9.19 UAH/kg from 6.15 UAH/kg;

Potatoes went down in price by 6.7% - to 8.61 UAH / kg from 9.23 UAH / kg.

Over a month, borsch set vegetables mostly rose in price: cabbage - by 10.2%, onions - by 10.6%, beets - by 16.5%, carrots - by 2.2%. Only the price of potatoes decreased over the month - by 0.9%.

We should add that the data exclude the temporarily occupied territory of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, Sevastopol and part of the temporarily occupied territories in Donetsk and Luhansk regions.

The expert community noted earlier that December will be a month of rising prices - before the holidays, as a rule, there is a rush demand, especially for food group.
