The majority of Ukrainians support Ukraine's membership in the EU and NATO, the European Pravda reports.
This is shown by the results of the survey of the International Republican Institute.
"Even in the face of Russian military aggression, Ukrainians continue to support membership in NATO and the EU," said Stephen Nix, regional director of the IRI for the Eurasian region. - Ukraine's accession to the community of advanced democracies will help strengthen the country's economic capabilities and strengthen its defense against external threats."
As for Ukraine's accession to the international economic union, 58% of Ukrainians would choose the EU and only 21% - the Customs Union with Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan. The support for Ukraine's accession to NATO makes up 54%.
The survey was conducted by the Sociological Group "Rating" upon request of the Center for Analysis and Sociological Research (CISR) of the International Republican Institute all over Ukraine, except for the occupied territories of the Crimea, Donetsk and Luhansk regions, during the period from November 6 to November 15, 2021, by personal interviews with respondents.
