The German Federal Network Agency for Electricity, Gas, Telecommunications, Post and Railway (Bundesnetzagentur) rules out certification of the Nord Stream-2 pipeline in the near future. Including the first half of 2022.

Bundesnetzagentur President Johann Homann, commenting on the timing of certification, said, "It will not be in the first half of 2022."
According to him, the company operator Nord Stream 2 has begun the process of creating a subsidiary in Germany in accordance with the requirements of German law.
Earlier the German Foreign Minister Annalena Berbock stated that the certification of Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline was suspended because it does not comply with the European Union norms.
