French President Emmanuel Macron and Russian President Vladimir Putin had a telephone conversation. In particular, they discussed Ukraine.
This is reported by RBC-Ukraine, citing the website of the Kremlin.
It is reported that Putin complained to his French counterpart about alleged violations of the Minsk agreements by Ukraine. According to him, Kiev allegedly aggravates the situation on the line of contact with the "connivance of a number of Western countries," which in addition, "pump Ukraine with modern weapons."
Additionally, Putin said that it was necessary to develop legally recorded guarantees that would rule out Ukraine's accession to NATO.
As a reminder, it was previously reported that Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky and Macron will hold a meeting in Brussels on December 15.
In addition, a meeting in a truncated Normandy format with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz is also expected.
