The Main Investigation Department of the Security Service of Ukraine is conducting a pre-trial investigation into the criminal proceedings concerning the commission of actions aimed at seizing state power.

Proceedings have been opened under Part 1 of Article 109 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine - on the fact of the preparation by individual citizens of Ukraine and the Russian Federation of actions aimed at seizing state power.

"The progress of the investigation will be reported later," the report said.

Recall, Zelensky at a press conference on Friday said that, according to intelligence information, in Ukraine could be preparing a coup d'etat 1-2 December with the involvement of businessman Rinat Akhmetov.
