Reznikov met with the head of the Pentagon

Ukrainian Defense Minister Oleksiy Reznikov arrived in the U.S. to meet with Pentagon chief Lloyd Austin. The sides raised the issue of countering the aggression of the Russian Federation, RBC-Ukraine reported.

It is worth noting that this was Reznikov's first visit to the U.S. as Ukraine's defense minister.

"We appreciate the help of the people of the United States in countering Russian aggression. Our main goal is to further strengthen the partnership between Ukraine and the United States," the minister wrote.

According to Reznikov, the Russian Federation has ignored concerns and calls for dialogue from the international community, which is why the U.S. and Ukraine must take decisive action to mute the Kremlin's aggression.

"The Kremlin has high and thick walls, they do not hear words of concern and calls for dialogue, but they understand actions. We should discuss with the U.S. what the response to Russian aggression should be. It should be a kind of inoculation against the dangerous virus of aggression," the minister added on his Twitter page.
